  • Original 18th Century Engraving depicting the story of the Tortoise and the Two Ducks, from the Fables of Fontaine.
  • Framed under glass in a solid wood gold gesso frame.
  • There is some wear to the (relatively modern) frame and some oxidation of the engraving, as shown.
  • Annotated on the back with a typed slip of paper: Eau-fort par Quintin-Pierre CHEDEL (1705 - 1762) d'après Jean-Baptiste OUDRY (1686 - 1755)
