  • Japan Osaka 2 Volumes in slipcase, both softcovers with dust jackets. Kenzo Tange Published by The Second Architectural Convention of Japan, The Architectural Association of Japan, Osaka, 1970 Kako kukan ningen - Nihon Bankokuhaku kenchiku shashinsh Publication date 1 May, 1970.

 

  • Orange Volume 86 pages exclusive in orange dust jacket that has the Expo worlds design. Contents is the layout of the exposition with the plans and descriptions for each and every pavilion in the festival plaza building complex. Introduction by Kenzo Tange titled The Basic Concept of Expo '70. Dust jacket has wrinkles on the back at one corner, as shown.

 

  • Large teal and white volume in teal and white stripped dust jacket that has the Expo worlds design. Contents is entirely color and black & white photographs, with several fold out pages; one example is shown in the photos. Spine has tears to the paper dust jacket at the top and bottom, and has wrinkles at the front right corner, as shown. Purchase information is tipped to the back page at the bottom and covered with onionskin, presumably by the publisher.

 

  • Slipcase for both volumes has the Expo worlds design, is in poor condition, separating at edges, wrinkles at corners, small tears, and with cellophane tape along one end. Spine of the slip case is marked with the same information as on the spine of the large teal and white volume.

 

  • Accompanied by a Japan Osaka 1970 Expo '70 Set of three silver medals in a sealed plastic case with a paper slipcover; the World's Fair Expo '70 Exposition Monument Medal Set. Each of the three medals measures in diameter approximately 4 cm // 1.5 inches. The slipcased container measures overall approximately 19,5 x 9,5 cm // 7.75 inches x 3.75 inches.
