  • One antique cast bronze dragon hardware piece.
  • Originally decorative furniture trim for a cabinet, console, drawer, or commode.
  • The incomplete tail is possibly a fit adaptation.
  • Highly detailed, with great expressions.
  • A well developed verdigris patina.
  • The piece will sit well balanced on a surface resting simultaneously along three points: along the neck, with the left claw and tail touching down.
  • COUNTRY of Origin: France.
  • AGE: XIXéme Napoleon III c1850
