    Unusual Cast Bronze Egg Signed Sculpture Opens Reveals Fossil Shell Pebble Original signed ovoid cast bronze desk sculpture, cast as two parts. The two halves lift apart; they separate along the equator into two separate parts. Exterior resembles a large flat pebble or ovoid egg, and fits in the palm of an adult's hand. Upon separating the two parts, the interior reveals deep impressions, on both sides, of a fossilized sea shell. MARKED with just a poinçon mark on the exterior; no fabrication mark, no signature, Poinçon mark on the exterior is the letter C followed by a point as the stamped signature mark of the artist.
